Aggelos Barai was born in Albania (1994) and moved as a child to Greece where he grew up. He is a photojournalist and documentary photographer based in Athens. His interest focuses mainly on social issues, human rights and immigration in the Balkans.
He collaborates with non-governmental organisations such as Greenpeace, Amnesty International, ICRC and more while he is also working for Magazines and Newspapers such as Vice, Solomon Mag and the agencies Associated Press, MEi Agency.
His work has been also published at The Guardian, The Washington Post, Le Monde, Independent, Der Spiegel, Telegraph, CNN, Al Jazeera, El Pais etc.
Aggelos is a member of the Foreign Correspondents Association in Greece and Ambassador of FujiFilm.
